As the final program organizer of “ACO Board Daily” series, May tried all the ways to get French artist Annick Gidrol’s prints – and her artistic exploration, depiction of nature and passion for life – by hand-carry to ACO Art Space. It facilitates a distant dialogue between France and Hong Kong by bringing in “Rencontre Suspendue” (Suspended Suspense Encounter) in December.
"Rencontre Suspendue" (Suspended Suspense Encounter)
Her abstraction of nature, such as flowers, plants, and different species, in colors and lines, is represented through her unique and personal exploration in collagravure.
Her visual poetics embrace sublime humanity, various cultural influences and love of life.
